My Sheer Coat Project
The project was to create a sheer coat. The inspiration had to be a personal love and a hate. I love sneakers but hate vandalism.
Inspired by the sneaker youth culture and the graffiti expression of vandalism.
The sole of the shoe is associated with many different brands.
Some people take great pride in the 'foot prints' they leave in the world through their actions.
Structured bomber jacketMixed collage and drawings. In the 1950s clothes tended to be structured and the shoes were plain, in contrast clothes nowadays tend to be loose and unstructured whilst our sneakers are very structured and detailed. I wanted to create a structured and detailed bomber jacket. | Sleeve and pocket detailsLooking at the Balenciaga shoe and sole silhouete for sleeve and pocket design. | Nike Air Force One Distinctive Silhouette |
